Biography
Matt has practiced architecture for two and a half decades, working with some of North America’s most innovative firms, including Art Huber Architect Inc., Busby, Perkins & Will (formerly Busby & Associates Architect), the Ventin Group and Pye & Richards. As part of his education and training Matt was fortunate to participate in the first design studios at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany following the demise of the Berlin Wall. Matt continues to invest in education and training (most recently obtaining his Certified Passive House Design designation) to ensure he is leading the team at LIME and providing project oversight in ways that include employing current techniques and providing up-to-date design solutions for every project.
Matt can often be found dabbling in fine art when away from the office. Matt also enjoys all sports and cherishes travelling with his wife to parts of the world they’ve not yet experienced. Matt spent several years as a Powder Hound supporting special needs young adults on the Big White ski hill and cherishes being a caring father and husband to his family. Like most parents who discover that they need a drink now and then, Matt has learned to appreciate good wine (especially Cabernet Sauvignons from the Napa Valley).
